  1. Hmmm. Well this looks like the same issue I feel like I'm having. 08 Spec-b. I posted this elsewhere... The driver's side when set to mid 70's is pretty warm, and if my passengers side is set to the same temp or hotter, it's actually blowing cooler air than the driver's side even if I put the passenger up to 85. Also blowing at the feet, it is not that warm either to match the temperature and seems to be blowing colder than my driver's side. Also, when I turn the vent on to blow at my feet, it still blows out of the middle vents between my nav system. The only way to get it to stop from those vents is to switch to the front defog and the feet blower. Do you have the part number by chance?
  2. Thanks for the info. I searched HID Installs and this was the best that came up even with the 4th generation. But I'll keep looking and see what I can find. I'd rather not drill the dust caps, but if it's the only way to install then I can and will.
  3. HAs anyone installed an HID kit on an earlier model? I have an '08 and just got a kit. Was wondering if I have to drill the dust cap to do the install or if there's a way to wire through without drilling. If I do need to drill the dustcap, what size drill bit do I need to use? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Never mind actually. The hoses at the junction of the hood have eroded and it's leaking there, so ordered the entire hood assembly from dealer, only about $30, hopefully it won't be too difficult to install.
  5. I think I ahve the same problem at least with the pressure of the pump. Haven't had a day to look under the hood to see if there's a leak or if the motor and pump are going out. If it is the motor and pump what exactly do I need to replace it all? Found this stuff, is it just parts 16 & 17 that I need or do I only need one of them? http://www.subarupartsamerica.com/parts/2008/SUBARU/Legacy/GT%20spec.B?siteid=216122&vehicleid=201802&diagram=7524430&diagramCallOut=16 Thanks.
  6. It's really not, takes about 15-20min and you're good to go
  7. TA-DA! http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/disable-seatbelt-chime-no-cutting-required-62304p4.html #57
  8. Do you know if the wiring that goes to the exterior mirrors is a wiring harness or if I have to take the door panel off to replace the whole side mirror? Mine got fragged by some debris on the highway yesterday. mirror shattered, turn signal blown off and frame cracked.
  9. Get a Yugo logo or a Dotson! That'd be awesome.
  10. Black 05 or 06 Legacy @ fullerton and Oak Park ave Thurs am bout 945.
  11. YEah so this is sorta unrelated, but I saw a ton of B4's (euro gt's) in Israel the past few weeks I doubt anyone here was driving any of them but I also did see a few police driving them as well.
  12. Nope.... He's locked up in the basement chained to the wall. Please leave a message.... LOL No it really isn't peter
  13. Anyone by chance know how or has tried to switch the seek controllers from going through all the channels on the radio to being able to change between all my preset channels? I would rather have this option than seeking through every single radio station, just don't know if or how it can be done. Just got a Spec-B a few weeks ago, but not doing this mod anytime soon unless it's REALLY easy, it's too freaking cold in Chi to be working on a car outside.
  14. YEah it stops both chimes, there is no switch on the passenger belt, I took that one apart first to see what I needed to do. The only chime it does is when you first stick the key in and turn it on, after that no more chimes on either side. The silence is so wonderful
  15. Yes there is check out this thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62304&page=2 works great and not very hard to do, stops both drivers and passenger side from chiming after the initial one when you first turn on the car
  16. So I got 2 ideas, one well it works on occasion and the other, I need some help from you guys. Solution #1: turn your radio up loud, it seems to drown out the chirping of the seatbelt. Solution #2: Does anyone know how to take apart the seatbelt buckle or have the schematics on doing so? If that's the case why not do that to both the passenger side and drivers side, remove the wire connected in there and just wedge a paperclip or something permanent in there to fool the connection that the seatbelt is always connected? If anyone has the diagrams on how to take apart the buckle and wants to send them to me, I do have a fair amount of free time and would be willing to make an attempt on it. Thanks.
  17. I've tried the 20x thingy a few times but ever now and again I still get the chime. Sometimes it doesn't go off sometime it chimes annoyingly. Not sure if the weather has anything to do with it or not, but it's sure really annoying. Might have to go with this method and just unplug the stupid thing. What really ticks me off is I had my dealer in dallas unhook it for me and it was fine for 2+ years, then I took my car in for the 30k check up here in VA where I live now and they undid it. Then they complained they weren't allowed to turn it off again it was against something or other. The chumps....ARG!!!
