I just hope that I don't have to take mine to dealer for anything ever. I have seperation anxiety when my baby is not under my direct care. So I just hope that I've gotten a reliable car that doesn't need any crappy dealer care. But yes....Unmarrying would be the only way to go if one had to go to dealer I suppose.
Pardon my naivete - Question - if you are running stage 2 with an up, dp and resistor fix and you unmarry the AP (which prevents cels), will you trigger a cel without the AP but with the up and dp?
I'm assuming not because this seems to be what most folks do when they go in to Subaru for servicing, correct?

now if only I could find a external display that was red
sat or mp3? My Carbon Rio 5 gig mp3 player has a red display that matches our dash lights perfectly.

Thanks jazzymt - I'll be in soon too I expect. Thanks again for helping us all out. Splitter will do it for me...I need both XM and Rio input. You deserve to make a few bucks on this and I hope you will.
Cheers,

I disagree mwiener2. Dont want to be rude, however there are several people who have posted lately on this thread that are awaiting responses from dealers and how this issue is being handled. It has been quite helpful to myself and others who are going through this process.
It would be appreciate by myself, and im assuming others if we could get some more "closure" and feedback from people currently in the mix with this ECU issue.
Just my opinion, Thanks.

I agree. This is a VERY important issue for us. This THREAD is the one I am MOST interested in checking when I access the board. And while I am not interested in upping my post count and I post only when I have something I feel is relevant to contribute, be assured that I am on this board and reading almost every day... to learn. And there are many others that are probably like me....and we all want to learn about how effective this "fix" is....from those who have done it and have experienced its effects.
Cheers,

2) I would play it safe and use 91 as a base map and bump it up to 93 when you go to the track.
Why "play it safe" and use the 91 octane map instead of the 93 octane map if you have consistent access to 93 octane?

I read it too, Craig. Thanks.

I'm thinking of doing the same. I'd rather not take a chance on a cel if it is going in for something other than an engine related issue.
