I've had my 07 LGT listed in the part out section of this site for some time now and many items have sold.  There are still some things I have left and would like to move to clear up some space.

    INTERIOR:

    Sun Visors

My listing in part outs is still active and has many pictures.  PM for more details and additional pictures.  Will ship

Is your interior grey? Is the driver's side sun visor still available?

    I'll PM you.

    Thanks.

  2. Looks like you need a new cap.

Get an OEM replacement. Double check the number, make sure you get one without wings.

To remove, you need to push down hard and twist counter-clockwise (to the left)

    Will do, thanks.

I didn't realize you had to push down and when it didn't budge, I thought it might've been a non-replaceable cap.

  3. 1) Is the cable still attach to the inside handle? (If yes), when pulled does it feel like it's still attach to the hood latch.(If yes), have someone pull the inside latch & hold it open & you hit the hood with the palm of you hand.

This didn't work. It still firmly latched.

Can you see enough cable to got vise grips on to pull cable an open hood. (If yes) but hood don't open. Repeat above. (If no) Peel back the cable housing to expose enough cable to grab a hold of.

I don't see how to peel back the housing. Do you have to cut it with a utility knife?

Last if all else fails, you mite have to remove part of you grill (with hole saw, dermal or drill) to get too the driver side top hood latch bolt (12mm). Which also holds the anti thief shield. Once shield is removed, use long pliers or screwdriver to trip open the hood latch.

Is there no way to get to this 12mm bolt with maybe an extension and u-joint?

    Thanks.

  4. hey what do people recommend for the best fog light bulbs? Should I go 3000k or higher? any preference with housings also??

I prefer a yellower light color for the foglamps. I wasn't trying to match my lowbeams, so I actually put yellow film over my foglamp lenses.

  5. DON'T take the headlights out.

Undo the pop-its from the wheel well liner. any of them from the axle line forward, and pull the wheel well liner out a bit, so you can reach behind it. there is at least a couple under the front apron area. be careful not to break them, although if you have some extra pop-its, some stubborn ones it is easier to just break off, and pull out.

With some nimble fingerwork, and some patience, you can rotate and pull the indicator socket out, and pull the bulb out of it... you may want to hold the bulb in a certain orientation as you bring it out of the wheel well area, and note which side of the bulb the writing is on that says what bulb number it is. do the same for the bulb you are putting in, because it will be blind work when you put it back.

you may want to test to make sure they work correctly before you button the wheel well liner back in on each side.

I did it (with silverstar indicator bulbs) while I was changing oil and tires over for the winter, which gave me a lot more room to work, with the car on jack stands, and the front wheels off already...

Sorry to revive such an old post, but I just tried to change out my front turn signal/marker bulbs (for LED units). The passenger's side went without a hitch when reaching into the wheel well, but on the driver's side, there's a auto trans filter and what look like washer tank and trans fluid lines all in the way. Will I have to remove the bumper cover? Or should I try removing the battery?

Also wanted to add some info that I just discovered regarding the front turn signals:

  6. I cringe whenever I drive over a bit of gravel, I don't know how you guys drive on roads like that. I mean, of course Subaru's have WRC heritage, but those cars are modified with protective undertrays aren't they?

-SB-;4493677']Posted this few years ago, now I have black wheels and I really enjoy how they look. But still searching to buy either OZ, either some Rial or BBS...

  7. any update on the canadian rack fitment?

I'm pretty sure they fit, there was an earlier post on it

I looked into them years ago, gave up only because I got lazy with trying to reach a Canadian dealer to order them from.

After the Yakima Railgrab didn't work out for me (see my earlier posts on this thread)...I settled for these:

    http://www.prolineracks.com/mont-blanc-3700-aero-wing-crossbars.html

...which aren't as low profile as the OEM Canadian units...but have served me well. Fit is great and with my moonroof open, a bit less noise than with the round Yakima bars I used to have.

I noticed that Yakima now has these, and according to their site, they are compatible with the 4th Gen wagons, but double check them:

  8. Looking at that picture, I'd kind of disagree. Compare to the OEM Legacy aero crossbar; http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4088314&postcount=47 That Outback bar on the Legacy doesn't sit as low and there's gaps all over the top part(pressure points and less friction if that's an issue).

This is an Outback crossbar on an Outback:

    http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/attachments/parts-accessories-performance/27632d1362164898-oem-cross-bar-woes-pic1.jpg

It may work(as in not fly off), but I don't think it fits as intended.

Took another look at the pic (this time not my tiny phone screen), you're right.

But, I do think that the Subaru Canada dealers have a 'foot' kit for those same aero bars that would make them fit our Legacy rails.

  9. These are a bit shinier(not as bad as chrome) than I anticipated but great for the price and fit perfectly. Was looking for older spec b wheels and gave up.

Same here...looking for something more subtle...sort of like the SpecB wheels, but in 17".

They look sharp on your car...and the finish is similar to the satin shine of the six-spoke OEM wheels that came with my car.

What size tires do you have?

  10. Look up 5zigen, Enkei, MB Motoring wheels

    fits your budget pretty well

Ok thanks...I actually have a set of MB wheels now...but they're a little beat up.

    Question:

I like the style of the TSW Interlagos - but the offest is 45mm and the wheel is 8" wide. Would that pose a problem in terms of clearances anywhere? Would they extend too far out of the wheel well and rub the fenders?

I'm also wondering if they are TPMS compatible.
