Lol, the site maybe sketchy but the dude running it has been on the forums and with the 5th gen family forever. If you are on facebook there is a group of us 5th gen legacy owners and another specific to the 5th gen GT. His name is Luis Segarra Jr. his member name is RikGT I think. He had a header made for our cars earlier this year and may still have a couple in stock, it is the only aftermarket header available that I am aware of.

oh sweet thank you, do you know the facebook group i will check it out and send him a message to see what he has, i also noticed a motor mount kit i would be interested in since he is legit lol

I was expecting something like a new strut bar or something, and you pop in with 286whp, a complete suspension upgrade, and more lol! Congrats, looks great!

thank you im looking for a lot more, im working with a local shop ecotech we are going to pull and build the motor soon it should be 550-600 awhp with a solid deck bottom end and all the goodies to go with it. i will run corn and meth as well. the car should be a lot of fun then lol

  3. Looking good!!

Quick Question: Which Mishimoto Intake Piping did you use. I was looking at the 2015+ WRX piping which look like it might fit.

I already have a COBB Intake box, MAF & Box from a 2008+WRX installed.

I used the 2015 wrx piping it took some work but we finally got it to fit. i had to use the hks filter to get everything to fit and it was a pain in the ass to be honest. i'm thinking about trying something different and leaving the filter in the fender instead of bring it up into the engine bay but i have not had time to try and fool with it.

  4. Been swamped at work but I finally got some updates on the build. The car is tuned by Shinji and put down 286 awhp 356 torque. This is with a Cobb AP3, mishimoto top mount, custom hard piping, hks intake, misimoto intake piping, go fast bits bov, invidia catless j pipe, invidia n1 exhaust. 9573aff3af43dd4f7068dbb0e151f7c3.jpg

Next up is a killer b header with divorced wastegate, because you have to take the header off to do the front sway bar so I figure if I’m going to get it off I should upgrade while I’m in there.

We are going to do a solid deck bottom end and built head next looking to be around 500 to the wheels. I also have to tear the inside out for the stereo build as well. I might put that off till next year.

Thanks for looking at my money pit lol

I finally made some progress on the 2011 legacy gt! It’s been a quick 2 months since I bought the car but I finally got it tuned last weekend. Still have a lot more to go but so far I have the invidia n1 exhaust, catless invidia down pipe, grim speed boost controller, misimoto top mount and charge pipe, the intake is a collection of misimoto, grim speed and hks to make it work. I also have the cob ap3 the car made 286 hp and 364 tq. I did have them turn it down a little for reliability. The motor has 119k on it and I wanted it to last through the winter if possible before I tear it apart and really dig into it.8c448a5dd1f79e047c61a9b9f694607d.jpg

You should line up a custom tune, I don't know how much you have followed these cars, hopefully the Jpipe is catted since aftermarket catless exhausts have not paired well with the small turbine housing on the turbo. i went catless so fingers crossed it works. i have a local shop ecotech and misha is going to dyno tune everything once its installed. i had a dyno tuned sti a while ago.

Get a good tuner who knows the platform, not just Subarus. I know all too well how much an impreza tuner doesn't bring out the best in this car.
