  1. This is the best iPhone/iPod aux in with remote solution, sounds great as the audio comes out of the line out on the phone. I've tried pretty much all the other brands/solutions and it's my favorite.

  2. I just got one of these cables from alpha-bid on ebay. With my 05 LGT, I can log just fine. However, I've tried several versions of ECUflash and it will not connect to the ehicle to read teh ECU.

Any ideas? I've messed witht eh drivers, baud rate.. tried 2 different laptops. My cable looks a lot like the other ebay cables, but has a green LED. I wonder if its different inside?

    Thanks!

  3. If Jazzy is using the same mixer circuit design as centerpunch for the aux-in board, then there would be a 6db drop in volume from the input. This is why you have to have the volume cranked up quite a bit on different sources. on average I have to run the audio at about 18 - 20 on the iPod depending on music, sometimes 25 for older 80's tunes that aren't normalized. It can be quite a shock to switch from silent CD to FM if the volume is cranked :)
  4. Do what centerpunch and I did. Folow that link, take apart your belkin dock and hardwire it adn put a ground loop isolator inline with it. I actually soldered the belkin kit to a ground loop isolator I had, and then put a 1/8" jack on the end of it. I wired the power into the accessory plug underneath the center console. My belkin white cord just comes out of a hole inside the center console armrest area. It's great, pure line-out sound with no noise, and when the car is turned off, the iPod pauses automatically. MUCH cleaner sound than the stock belkin plug/amp thing.
  5. Mines up and running as well. I took out my FM modulator setup and installed this in place. Drilled a hole in the center console for the cable to pass through and it's good. Sounds so much better than the FM mod, it's amazing. I think I'll have to ditch the belkin line-out for a better solution that's less noisy, but the headphone jack does the job well for the moment!

    Great work!
