Replaced the #2 injector (with used unit) and now cylinder #2 misfire is back as well as #4 misfire!. Had burnt/cracked #4 cylinder valve replaced last year due to turbo failure.
BMX, where do I go from here? I am thinking troubleshooting (again...grrr):
Compression/leakdown
Plugs
Coilpack
sending all 4 injectors to Witchunter for cleaning/testing
Any help would be appreciated

Update on my issue, still can't track down the problem. So far here's what i've had happen:
Oil leak near turbo/Cylinder misfire #4. Bad turbo/ compression test nil.
Found bad/burned valve, replaced bad valve cylinder #4, replaced turbo
6 months later now getting cylinder #3 misfire. Copmression good, plugs good, coil packs good. Replaced #3 injector with used injector. Still getting cylinder #3 misfire
The misfire ONLY happens after gas tank is filled. I was thinking the fuel filter may be the culprit, but wouldn't that make the whole fuel system dirty?
Any thoughts?

I am looking at getting a set of deatchworks to cure this problem. I was just told that there is a service bulletin on our injectors. Might as well upgrade and replace em all, cheaper than buying OEM

Bought the wife's '05 LGT wagon from a member here and loved it until last month. First oil starvation led to turbo failure, now cylinder misfire in numbers 4 and two. Its so bad that its running on three cylinders and sometimes on two. Its at the dealer getting a compression and leakdown test so i fear worst. It sounds like several memeber s have had either burned valves or bad piston ringlands. I am going to have words with SOA if thats the case with ours. Can anyone say defective motor from the factory?

What did you run at CMC? I may have met you. I was in a WRB bugeye WRX two seasons ago. Last season I ran the Legacy at a few events.

Guy that looked at it six months ago just reminded me that he checked all of those things. Compression was good in all 4. He heard that there is an updated OEM fuel injector and he thinks that may be the fix. I called Subaru parts just now and indeed there is an updated injector.
BMX have you heard anything about an updated injector and would I be better off getting DW injectors for the same $$ if indeed injectors are the culprit?
