Sorry to say but that’s a pretty hard goal to meet. Any aftermarket header regardless of quality, will most likely be more than an OEM manifold set, certainly more than a used one. You should be able to source a used set from here or NASIOC especially as there a lot more folks over there. My tuner had a used set from an STI for $100 that was recently brought in for headers, that’s what I swapped in to my Outback

That is what I thought, until I priced out the OEM. For the left & right manifolds, the heat shields, crossover pipe and gaskets, I get $1,300.00 (discounted) plus another $80.00 shipping. And that is without the up pipe.

So we are saying that I cannot get a decent aftermarket manifold for under $1,400.00?

I guess that is possible, but I was hoping that we all underestimated the cost of OEM.

...and speaking of OEM, perhaps I am looking in the wrong place. Does anyone have a recommendation for parts on the web?

Is this my only choice? Doesn't anyone make a decent quality aftermarket part anymore?

I have a massive leak in my stock header, and I need to replace it. I was looking at a Borla, but they seem to be discontinued. Anyone have a recommendation?

Not looking for performance increase, just need a good header that costs less than the costs of the OEM parts.
