My 2006 Spec-B (#102) is now for sale in the Chicago area. Original owner & 119K happy miles.

I own #102 in Chicago, IL. My previous request from April never made it on the list. I guess somebody doesn't like me.
-
I also have a 2006 Spec-B Stage 2. I live in Carol Stream, IL. Do I hear a Spec-B meet in the making?????

Saw what I think was a 06 spec B because it was a spec B in that silver and no spec B badge. I was next to you in my LGT so you would have seen me. Then I saw earthworm today on the road.
This might have been me. I usually notice other LGTs so I don't know how I would have missed you car.
My daily commute takes me on Rt.53, Palatine Rd and Lake Cook Rd. so if you saw this car on one of those roads, it was probably me.

I've had a couple silver LGT spottings in the past week. One debadged specB w/ wing (assumed specb by wheels, too dark to confirm color) from Palatine all the way to about the 90 exit on 53 SB.
The other was a silver debadged LGT with what looked to be 3.0R wheels at Shoemaker rd to 59 NB getting onto 90 EB, then exiting onto 53 SB.
Could have been the same car with winter wheels?
The de-badged Spec-B was me. I waved a few times but you had tinted windows so I couldn't tell if you saw me.
Your exhaust sounded real good. Makes me want to get an exhaust real soon.
The other LGT was not mine.....I still have my stock Spec-B wheels on my car.
It's nice to finally see some other LGTs on the road!

I finally saw some more Legacys last night. It's been a few weeks since I've seen any.
I was at Real Time Sports bar in Elk Grove Village last night to watch the B-ball game. There was a blue non-turbo Legacy in the lot with aftermarket wheels and an auto trans. There was also a white LGT in the lot with auto trans and a front wind deflector on the hood.

You guys were right when you said Schaumburg is the LGT capital of Illinois. I've probably seen ~3 LGTs over the last 3 months during my normal travels. Today I drove thru Schaumburg after work and saw 3 LGTs in a matter of minutes.
I saw a blue LGT wagon on Meachum. Then a red LGT on Golf Rd. Then I parked next to a white LGT in the Golfsmith/Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot.
I was in my LGT but I don't think anyone else saw me.
I'll have to drive thru Schaumburg more often!

This is not exactly Legacy related, but close enough.
I saw an urban grey STI Limited driving north on Rt.53 this morning. There was a younger woman in the car that looked pretty good. It's rare enough to see a woman driving a Subaru, let alone a good looking woman driving a rare STI Limited. Maybe her husband/boyfriend has a Legacy GT. Either way, she has great taste in cars and hopefully she has some friends with the same tastes.

Anyone around Des Plaines, IL?
I'm in nearby Carol Stream. I don't see any Legacys in my area. I see a few on my commute along Rt.53 everyday.

Nice glad to see its someone from this board. I live in the Chevy Chase apartments, I assume you work somewhere on Johnson Drive there. You're spitting distance from my apt.
I've been to a few of the local meets. I've known the local teenage heart-throb (aka fweasel) for a while......we both own Twin Turbo 300ZX's. My Legacy is my daily driver so I'm trying to keep it somewhat stock. We'll see how long that lasts........

Was it a de-badged one? I keep spotting a debadged 06 Spec-B, but can never seem to get a good look at the driver.
The de-badged Spec-B is me. I work in Buffalo Grove and drive down Dundee and Lake Cook Roads every weekday. I've got my low-key Winter wheels on now so the car might not stick out as much. I'll keep my eyes open for you and your white Legacy GT.

FYI.....I sold my 2006 Spec-B (#102) several years ago to someone local to Chicago, IL. The new owner hasn't claimed it yet on this website.
I wish I would have kept it. It was the best all-around daily driver I have ever owned. Subaru hasn't replaced the Spec-B with anything comparable in the last 12 years ):
