Where to begin with modifications to your Legacy GT

Thanks! I was hoping to find this in a search. I will be buying a 2006 Legacy GT in a couple weeks and wanted an idea of things I can do to it as far as adding just a bit of hp to it. Does altering the ECM void warranty though?
