hey bud, i posted in a separate thread but just got my car back from Jon at 5150racing.

 

we were able to completely solve the overboosting issue by porting it. now it holds steady 20-23 psi no matter what gear we were in.

 

as always, i told him to tune conservatively as hes 400 miles away and i dont want to ever have any issues (my 05 which is running trouble free on state 3 after 100k miles is why i went back to him)

 

numbers are about what i expected.

i went ahead and got a turbosmart, gonna do the install of the tmic, chargepipe next week, i will let you know how it goes.

 

i chose to go BPV this time because my last car, a stage 3 gen 4 LGT, had a GFB 50/50, and it still backfired once in a while when i let off on high boost, and that car was an auto...with a manual this time around, i fiugured i would be better off and just go full recirc. but since its so easy to change, if this has issues i can always go with something else in the future.

i live right off bernal/santa teresa...i have a BMS wagon...rims tint, easiest way to spot me is the porsche 911 style exhaust tip.

had a nice lil pull up the great oaks to 85 north on ramp with what i think is a spec B...nice car man! who was that? what kind of mods are in it?

spotted a BSM wagon with blacked wheels in SJ on 101 a few days ago, never seen this one down here

Tuesday afternoon in South San Jose, silver LGT Wagon w/ tint and wheels (couldn't tell what kind) on Santa Teresa making a left onto Bernal. Looks good!

Saturday morning...Silver GT Wagon around 9:00am near Whipple.

 

Looked like it was lowered and had an L7 badge...nice looking wagon.

 

Would have waved but I was in my SAAB Sportcombi...and you probably would have thought I was a weirdo.

they had one there with the scope and laser already attached like this one, i already got hte bipod. not doing the flashlight of course hehe

forget about ordering a gun now thats not in stock...its a crap shoot, someone i know have waited over 5 months on theirs. thats why i went to like a dozen different places in the area and finally found my G22 there.

spotted a silver lgt wagon with the l7 badge. it also had rims and an exhaust tip that made it look like quad. at target masters around 3-4ish

lol saturday... drove up th penn in the morning, was in SF for six hours, drive back down the east bay at night, didnt see a single LGT wtf...

saw a black LGT sedan with mesh grille and rims and exhuast as i was leaving cupertino village on sunday, he was coming in

so who was the silver 05 gt wagon w/ the rims, tint, and dual tip exhaust at the bubbles meet tonite in milpitas?
