  1. Sebastien, a few questions.

    1) So once the board is installed and as long as the switch is on 'Auto' or 'On' whatever is playing over the aux-in will play? Basically, all I listen to is my iPod, so I want to hear that whenever I start the car without having to press ANY buttons.

    2) Does the unit actually switch the sources? i.e. If I am listening to the radio and start playing something over the aux-in does the radio stop playing, or do you get both sources unless you switch the headunit to CD or something?

    3) Is the remote switch removable? If it's removed what 'mode' (Auto/On/Off) is the aux-in unit in?

    4) Is there a signup list for ordering? What's the process?

Sorry if some of this is in the french manual :)

  2. As long as RedFloyd stands behind his product I'm not concerned about vendor status. I don't think the $70 would change anything.

I'm just excited to try this out! keep us posted RedFloyd.

  3. I currently have the stock suspension setup, but would like to upgrade.

    My plans include:

    H Tein springs

    Hawk HPS pads

New tires (preferably all seasons, What is a good tire?)

Not Sure if i will be able to get all this done by august, but maybe. Do you think this would be a good setup? If you could only do one of them which would you do?

if only 1, i'd definitely go tires! it'll improve braking and cornering.

i'm on Falken 912's right now. much better better than re92s, but that's all i have to compare them too on the obxt.

  4. back on topic...(I also cross posted this on subaruoutback.org)

Well I guess I'll post here since I have now had this happen to me twice (at least twice it was very noticeable)

My first experience was going on a straight flat road, which was ice covered and it was VERY unsettling. The back end would "wiggle" and it was hard to keep it going in a straight line. At that time there was a decent cross wind so I attributed it to that.

My experience today was on the interstate, ice covered, and the same feeling, but not quite as bad (I have since replaced the RE92 tires, but I have gone to an 8" wheel, which I would assume would just make snow driving worse)

Both times it seems I have had a full load, 5 people in the car, ski stuff in the back and 5 skis/snowboards on the top.

I have driven numerous time with only my wife in much worse conditions and I have not had any issues. Granted it's hard to compare conditions, but I do feel more stable with 2 people and 2 skis, rather than a full load.

Either way, it's not a fun feeling and all I can seem to do is slow way down and let people pass. I'd love to have an explanation, cause it sucks.

  5. well i took the plunge....sound is great :)

i am hogzawst stg 2 SS (stainless steel). nice rumble when you start it up and not bad otherwise. i actually hear my intake (avo panel filter and removed resonator) more than the exhaust at hard throttles.

i'm sure i'll keep it for a while, only issue is being embarassed if i ever have to take it in for service and they point out my 'exhaust leak'

  6. Looks like the ground loop interrupt is for RCA cables, the board is for 3.5 mm cable. So for, say, Ipod, I'd neet 2 Y cables - to go from the board to the interrupt and then from interrupt back to 3.5mm Ipod. Am I right? Have you seen ground loop interrupt for 3.5mm connection anywhere?

    Radio shacks GLI

already has 1 y-adapter so you would only need 1 more y adapter.
