Checking in here since I was trying to answer this question the other day how many of my car were built and now it seems like finally have an answer!  Should have seen this thread years ago.  Still have mine since early 2009, got it as a Subaru of America executive demo out of the south as I couldn't get one new.  Worked for two Subaru dealers from 04 thru 2023.  Only has 45,000 miles on it and every year I talk about parting ways with it and can't, have had a couple corvette's and didn't lose sleep when they were gone.  Wish I had bought this S209 back in the day to keep with it but at least I have photos of these two rare white Subie's together!

 

 

I can tell you we sold #399 (Planet Subaru in Hanover, MA) and the customer still services the car with us, he is a multiple Subaru owner.
