    I kinda like it.

My personal favourite colour (for Outbacks anyway) is the Green Mica, which I also don't think was well liked generally. Legacies would be a little different for me... the lines of the car call out for something different, but it's totally preference. I like my BSM (Brilliant Silver Metallic?) LGT, but would possibly change the colour to more of gunmetal grey if I were to do a respray.

I would try doing some paint restoration first. Maybe just start with a cut and polish and see how it comes up. Given that a decent  and not even great re-spray is probably going to cost about what the car is worth, it would be my last option personally.

As far as paint restoration the only things I have to do is repair a few dings and paint my bumper. I also have scratches on the car that I would like to touch up.

It's a good color, almost bought one when I was looking, but it wasn't a GT. And the spec.b that popped up only came in BSM for my year.

I mean if you really hate it, but love the car, you could get it wrapped. But full color change wraps are quite a bit extra for doing the door jambs and other noticeable crevices. And you'll have to have it removed and re-done every 5-7 years depending on sun exposure.

I'd say keep it if the paint is in good shape.

This what I was thinking. Keep the color and restore it and if it doesn’t grow on me I’ll just wrap it to something more appealing. I hope it does grow on me though but I suppose we all have different tastes.

  3. I just picked up this 2009 legacy for $2000 a few months ago and it came with the DBM (poop brown). I really enjoy the car and I’m planning on keeping it for a while. While I explored some of the forums discussing the color I saw that a lot of people say they like it. I’m on the fence about deciding if I should change the color (since the paint is rough already) or restore the color, repaint what is needed, and embrace the poop brown color. I’m hoping that the color would grow on me. Just want to know what you guys would do and what you guys think of DBM. I’ve also seen that it’s a rare color!
