It's in the SXM settings. You have to go to Apps >> SXM Travel Link >> Weather Tab >> Add Favorite, etc.

 

Thanks for your response. As i tried to select NY, it still shows DC weather. I tried turning car off, putting it in accessory mode, but nothing seems to work. Possibly a glitch or bug with my system, but maybe an update will help? Who knows

Valvoline 5w-30 conventional in my 08... 100k miles and 14 years later just did a leak down test and all cylinders perfect and within 3 percent.

 

based on that and owner's manual... 0w-20 Valvoline.

 

wife's turbo Mazda is 5w30 while non turbo is 0w20. wish Subaru would put 5w30 in their turbo cars.

I cant for the life of me figure out how to change the weather, from DC metro to NY. (Picture attached) I have tried going through all of the settings and cant find anything. Is the weather based of the cars location? Cause I am from NY, and weather down in DC is usually different than here. Any help would be appreciated!

Just looking for some insight on what type and brand to run in my 2022 legacy premium. I live in the northeast and always ran 5w-30 on my other cars due to the weather changes. I see turbo models require 0w-20? Read that online somewhere but i was thinking of running kirkland brand full synthetic 5w-30 on my car. Im putting 30k miles a year on her and oil changes every 6k is going to add up. I can get 4 (5 gallon) jugs from costco for 66$. Making an oil change around 16$ before buying the filter.

 

Any insight would be great

I only care about the Infotainment update on my 2022 so I can get wireless Apple CarPlay and heat/vent button on the screen.

 

What are the chances they update the software to support wireless CarPlay?

 

I’m pretty bummed because I just got a 22 legacy and the non-wireless CarPlay made me scratch my head

That's clean. I wish the Touring XT came with rear spoiler not just the Sport. Also the side door moldings too. I wish again it just came stock from factory. My 22 Touring XT was on the lot without these so I bought that one on the lot vs ordering/waiting for a Legacy.

And i was lucky enough to grab this right off the lot…where i live, to order a legacy was a 4 month wait:(

 

Did the rear lip with torsion bars…bars were a little tricky but doable…you literally have to lay in the trunk to make it work:lol

 

Also added oem wind deflectors..pretty nice and no noticeable noise

Subie219, the spoiler I received did not come with new torsion bars, which surprised me. I would install them, though, as the trunk lid closes a little "heavy" with the original torsion bars.

I bought an oem Subaru spoiler and it came with the trunk torsion bars. Did you install them on yours? If so was it easy?
