I can email you the dump from an Australian version of that cluster, appearance is the same.

That would be a HUGE help. I *think* your vehicle is a petrol? mine is a diesel & as such the tacho is scaled differently. That said it'll be a huge improvement over what I've got so would be very grateful if you're able to email it through.

EDIT: I've now got a Petrol / Auto dump thanks to Moral Hazard which is a great start. Still looking for a diesel / manual dump to get the cluster working 100% again.

I have successfully done the cluster swap to color version.

My car is 2010 Legacy Diesel Manual transmission. I have purchased color (MY13) cluster from CVT (Automatic transmission), reprogrammed it to Manual transmission and modified cluster airbag curcuit to work properly with car airbag system.

 

If there are any Diesel legacy/outback owners from Europe, I could help them with cluster swap.

I could also help with petrol clusters, but it can't be done remotely.

Hi Mate, by any chance would you mind sharing the dump file for your new cluster? I had a bad read and now my new colour cluster is blank. Yours looks identical to what I have. Would be a huge help if you're able.

I actually understand the airbag circuit modification, I'd be happy to post schematics for others assuming I can get this one working.

So I've dug myself a hole, I've got a 2010 AU Diesel Outback I'm doing the Facelift Cluster + Steering wheel upgrade on.

I attempted to dump the cluster EEPROM but it seems something went wrong with my programmer. I only got a partial dump (unreliable) and now the chip reads empty and sometimes won't respond.

I'll replace the EEPROM but I need a working dump to load on it once it's installed.

Vehicle is an AU delivered 2010 Manual Diesel Outback RHD with no Eyesight or SI-Drive.

If Anyone has a dump that's remotely similar they're willing to share (privately is fine) I'd be most greateful.
