  1. I'm currently rebuilding my motor on a new OEM short block and was putting on the coolant cross-over with new OEM bolts and I managed to strip one of the holes. Somehow not sure how it managed to punch through as the thing blocking it off was inside. I'm not sure the best way to go about fixing this and was wondering if anyone had any good advice or suggestions. Getting a new short block isn't an option. I'm out of money and Subaru won't warranty something like this. The current idea is to re-thread it one size bigger and use rtv on the bolt but though I should post about it to see what other people thought. I know this is the dumbest thing anyone has ever done. It was late I've been in a rush and stressed and was just being an idiot. Now I'm stuck kicking myself.
