  1. Just fitted the STI "Genome" axlebacks paid 500 shipped for mine. Wasn't about to do nameless because everyone has nameless. but thats for 4th gen your 5th gen nameless is it, Unless you pay someone to customize 11+wrx mufflers, or any sort of muffler.
  2. Suspension is shot, have the title in hand I'm honestly not worried about "economy" portion of the car. Its a extremely clean 65Z color car not worried about going fast or anything, don't care its not a Lgt or spec-b just want better suspension. Im not replacing the suspension with loaded quick suspension, if i do it im upgrading as i go, Eventually its going to get swapped
  3. All Have a full 2011 basically new suspension and a 2007 2.5i. Bought whiteline springs for the wrx suspension and thought a simple mod would be needed to fit wrx rear in, Is that the case? If i cut hole bigger for the rear lower mount will it accommodate the wrx rear, and what bolt would i need to send it through? Can i run LGT tophats on the wrx springs? Should i just give up and buy LGT rear struts, and will the wrx springs fit in the LGT struts?
  4. Bolted up the Genome sti exhaust on my 2.5i glad I did. Side question what all is needed for rear struts? Have a 2011 wrx suspension, I know front bolts in, but rear I'm confused on if it is confirmed working, got the suspension free a long time ago from wrx days, extremely low mile bought whiteline springs.. so waiting on a cheap rear strut option mount solution. So far from what I gather is legacy top hats have to be used and rear bottom is questionable that's where I need help.
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193662733791 Make sure you measure, there are 2 different ones legacy sedan is 74, and the wagon is 80 I believe. Mufflers that's on you, because why pay for "oem" style when you can source something else. But for a cheap system it bolts up perfectly, wrong size donut but that's solved easily.
  6. My quest to do cheap exhaust is at an end. After a failed attempt at installing the "cheap" 270 dollar DNA motoring exhaust on an N/A while it fit, It hung way too low and sounds crappy, and the baffles failed within a month. Found a replacement Midpipe on ebay for like 150 and to my surprise bolts up perfectly, Wrx exhaust flange is twisted and one is too long somehow and one mount is in a different location on each muffler, I thought doing just flanges would fix it, and thought the cheap dna catback was just placed weird. For another cheap project Bought a alpine cda-9887 for 150, and a 1din plus pocket off ebay for 10 bucks, trying to do a modified cubby pocket install because i miss having real audio, My audio control LC2i pro just doesn't cut it. Will be trying to see if i can bondo a solution up.
  7. The weird thing is There is a space for the wire to sit in even, there are 2 hoses on n/a and a holder for a 3rd, run along that and down to the spot near the brake, seems both places are horrible to run through. Does anybody know about the new Seicane Android unit for the legacies? They make a upper mounted radio for a factory looking install. Im probably going to do that instead of the other option getting the bezel and i88.
  8. Don't have pics but thought id share, Bought the 250~ dollar dna motoring exhaust for 2007 n/A had vibrant 1794 welded in sounds and fits as expected. will be fixing exhaust hangers. Also LC2i pro with forward and reverse harness off factory stereo, 4 channel amp, and a sub amp i put in, full component speakers infinity reference up front and some new old rockford speakers from the early days. All i will say about amps in these cars is there is no space whatsoever to run wires on side of seats, and ran 4ga through un-used port through the spot next to brake booster which is a major pain, going through the blanket on the other side of the firewall was fun.
