I left the badges on the car, sprayed the plasti dip over the course of an hour or two, then peeled the excess off. If sprayed correctly, it's pretty easy to do. You'll need a toothpick to get between letters like hole in the capital A.
If you were to remove the badges and dunk them in plasti dip, you'd lose the adhesive properties of the back of the badges.
How many coats?

Did you plastidip on car or remove and actually dip?

If anyone else in the future has a similar issue, all it was the washer that goes between the transmission and the NSS wasn’t put on. Make sure it’s there before putting everything is put back together. Would’ve saved me a few days of trying to figure out the issue.
NSS?

Did you use a vacuum pump, or the two man “pump the pedal” method?
I read a thread by jmp and he said to gravity bleed it. It took forever but I followed his instructions and seems to be dialed.

I'm trying to get all the chrome off my car. The back end is the last section. Debating over whether to debadge, plastidip/paint badging, 3d print or find some black replacements for the badging.
After that the tail lights are the last thing. I don't know that I love blacking them out. I heard tint won't stay on them. I can't really find anything but stock replacements. So the question is .... Anyone have any ideas or know a decent solution?

Had to park the OBXT for the moment. Have been dealing with an odd misfire that has steadily been getting worse. The good news is I’m now pretty sure it’s spark-related. It’s the only time in my life I’ve wanted to see a blinking CEL to try to track down the misbehaving cylinder, so I’ll knock that and the dodgy knock sensor(/wiring) out at the same time.
What "dodgy" about the knock sensor wiring?

Where did you get the black badging?

Well, I've been a long time lurker but never made my contributions to the group via forum posts. Owned my spec b since end of 2019, was basically stock with 166k miles located in Utah but fairly rust free for the area. Been a fun two years and it's finally shapping up how I envisioned. Kinda hard to figure out where to start this post since car has been heavily modified up to this point ha. I'll just go from the start of my ownwrship to where we sit now woth a couple pictures. So created the Spec B badge as close to the original as possible from an image
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6413396I have next to zero experience 3d printing. I'm wondering if this could be used to 3d print a new matte black badge for the rear of my car. Been looking for a while for black badging and found nothing

T'd my fuel pressure regulator into the BPV line.
Had a stumble since I owned the car. It's gone now. Much improved!
Does anyone know the official hose size for the fpr reference line? I put on 5/32 vacuum hose because my OE one is old and the ends are hard. The ID on the OE looks bigger than 5/32 but I couldn't find anything bigger that seemed to fit snug enough over 5/32 at the local store.
I'm wondering if it might be better to have a larger ID to give it a more clear signal and if there are any concerns over it collapsing under high vacuum.

Does the spacer effectively decrease the offset? If I'm thinking about this right?
-
Well based on that it seems like it would most likely be ok. Thanks for that.

There’s a good bit of info on these questions just from doing basic searches online. In the long run you’ll want to understand these things for yourself and pick a setup that suits your preferences.
If you want to get your feet on the ground you have a basic idea of what will fit and function very well.
Booze, have you run a +45?
I'm considering an 18x8 +45 with 235/40/18. Wondering how much different that is to a +48?
Like I said I've only found one +48 that I remotely like and they are heavy and I don't love the color.
