  1. New here, I bought a 98 Legacy GT with about 100k on it for 2,200. Runs great, been fixing it up, new exhaust, undercoating, sensors, gaskets, etc etc, no major mechanical issues. However, I do notice that the Oil At Temp light comes on, doesn't flash repeatedly to report an error code or anything like that, but comes on and goes off about a second later after I start the car. Is that normal procedure, or are the car's electronics simply 20 years old and it's nothing I should be worried about? My car runs pretty cool, plenty of clean AT fluid in it, and honestly no issues with the transmission, I'm just curious about this pesky light and if it's something I should be cautious about. Thanks.
