  1. baby pink? not sti pink? well cherry blossom ?

i forgot, not my car. :p Sounds awesome. Can't wait to see pics. Yeah start a thread in the picture section or in the appropriate section.

Hahah every other car I’ve got I’ve got candy pink wheels on, but I’m not sure it would sit right with the pearl, I did consider just doing them gold but I’m not sure

It depends if I do find a decent turbo bonnet or not!

  2. i like the body kit. especially on the cream? color. the drop with the dished wheels. is that a wood trim steering wheel

Pearl white :) it just looks cream because it’s filthy haha the dishes wheels are going baby pink and chrome rather than bronze and chrome

And it is [emoji846] I’m taking it off, I’ve found a boss kit in Pearl white with a white wood wheel to go with

  3. certainly looks like a 3rd to me. although because says outback (2nd) instead of legacy (3rd). one of those goofy subaru things.

its a good looking wagon, regardless of generation

I just assumed the 2000 was the 2nd! Either way I love the bloody thing, the family car is a new seat tarraco but this thing holds my heart

  4. I rented an estate in NZ a year ago, just I could annoy friends by calling it a wagon. Still the "shooting brake" is a way better name.

    Hahaha love it!

I seem to be the only one here in the UK! Tbf there’s not many of these here either

    What’s a shooting brake [emoji23][emoji23]

Thanks! The plan is to full straight through from the manifold and a turbo bonnet, take it slightly lower and make some slight changes cosmetically, it’s too old to remap so it’ll just sit at a 3.0 [emoji3526]

  6. I have owned three Subaru Outbacks (1996, 1998, 1999) and all three required head gasket replacement. That was a $2,000 repair for each and every one.

I've also owned at least 15 other vehicles of various makes and models over the years and none of them required a head gasket replacement even though they all had well over 100,000 miles on them before I bought something else.

When I hear people repeating the Subaru party line that goes something like, "no head gasket problem here," I can only point and laugh.

I also own a ZR, renowned for HG problems, whenever anyone says “my zr has never needed a head gasket” it makes my eyes roll so hard like prepare yourself, it’s coming

  7. RCM (ppl who made gobsmacker) could make you a wing. Or Rodney probably has a rally wing from an actual wrc car.

shipping from Canada to UK shouldn't be too much? looks like $138. It was $60 to ship the snorkel to Seattle.

We’ve just had a crown Victoria police car shipped from Detroit and even getting small parts for it is ridiculous

The shipping costs more than the parts!

There doesn’t seem to be anyone on here from the UK either.

I’ve been looking into wings and the turbo bonnet but it’s literally looking like a fortune just for shipping!

  9. Hey! New here! Just purchased a 2000 Outback H6

Whilst I have owned WRX’s before and an STI, I’ve never had an outback/legacy

Please feel free to through general info this way! Many thanks!
