  1. Anyone had success connecting an amp in parralell with the front or rear speaker outputs from the stock head unit? Just wondering if it sounded ok and IF I should use front or rear doing this. The thought was to add a Rockford mono amp and drive it with the high level inputs to the amp. A duel 12" sub box is going in the back.
  2. Well, replaced with 'D' brand (360). I removed a TYC and a Subaru and the Subaru had some issue with the hi-beam socket being way crooked. No idea how that happened. I will operate on it just out of curiosity. The TYC lens was so bad, had the incorrect connector for the low beam bulb not allowing for a good seal and always leaked. The back of it appeared only a couple of years old. We had a 2003 WRX that had very old Depos and they were fine.

Man, what a difference. Time for some good Hi-Beam bulbs and Nok yellows for the fogs; plenty of snow driving here.

  3. Well, unless these little parts block a coolant passage. I believe these systems return coolant to the motor via the top hoses, in which case, these get into the block someplace, just where?
  4. I'm not sure where to post this since the issue is with a 2008 and a 2012; both H6 cars.

My son complained of "getting warm" on a 73° day, pulled the radiator cap and found the negative pressure valve parts missing. I did recover the spring just sitting on the coils in the upper tank. So, we ordered 2 caps from Subaru. When they arrived, we replaced the caps in both cars, and yes, I had to recover the spring in my car as well. WTF!

    1) Where are the other parts?

    2) Are they wreaking havoc some place in the motor and where?

    3) How to retrieve said parts?

    4) What to replace the caps with that operate properly AND don't fall apart?

The search for anything related to Subaru Radiator caps BOTH on the WEB and within several forums is overwhelming, yet no one mentions this particular issue.

  5. Yah, searched plenty. Not sure why no answer to HORIZONTAL headlight adjustment on these cars. I replaced my crappy stock headlights with "TYC" aftermarket. The beams are cross eyed left to right. No, the cars not been wrecked, no, the bulb is seated correctly.

Anyone have pictures of the adjusters and which way they turn to adjust.

    Thanks in advance.
