  1. It's an electronic throttle.

The tuner needs to play with the calculated torque and requested torque tables to truly open the throttle 100% ( I believe from memory).

For a better understanding, read all of this thread:

    https://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=9358

Anyway for the purpose of tuning, I would just provide the tuner with your logs and explain you had your foot flat to the floor. The tuner should do the rest.

I'll take a look into this, thanks for the comment. I think he has a goal of 19psi but after looking I think I'll have him dial it back based on me reading on here.

  2. Hey guys,

New to the forums here. I got a 2010 Legacy GT back in July and it was maintained really well with a lot of items documented. So I ordered a Cobb AP to get a proper tune on it. I've been working with Eric at Torqued Performance and so far so good. The only issue I have been having is he has asked me to provide him with a WOT log. I was confused with this because its not my first rodeo with e-tuning. I held my foot to the floor from 2500 - 6500 as requested, yet when I look at the datalogs it shows my throttle pos % is relatively low for a wide open throttle.

Below I've attached my newest logs and you can see even at WOT the throttle pos % is 40 - 70% for most of the log. I do eventually reach 93% (but only at 6400 rpm.) I find this super odd- and question the mechanical integrity of my car.

Is there something I can check, perhaps replace the sensor? Are these cars drive by cable or done electronically?

Thanks in advanced- see attached data logs for more details.
