Dmx1037s I believe and yes I was able to retain steering wheel controls and back up cam. I bought a maestro rr2 to allow me to do those things and more I got individual tire pressure now and can view my intake temperature. Lots of cool tricks

My low level was a LC2i but Iv had it for a few years now. They usually work great but mines kicked the bucket a little after I threw in two bigger amps and bigger subs but as much as I like the factory head unite I’m grabbing a big ass kenwood lol big screen hdmi port built in wifi add up to 4 cameras and wireless Apple car play. I just want better sound quality and I want CarPlay in there. My legacy didn’t come with the kardon harman system.

  3. Good job, bud! How do they sound with the stock HU? I had to turn the bass all the way down with my new speakers, but they sound much better than the stockers at high bass levels. All other frequencies are better as well.

Wish I could tell you lol , I haven’t heard them yet my low level converter blew up a couple weeks ago so I haven’t had any sound at all and I’m not looking to buy another that’s why I’m aiming to replace the radio plus it’ll push those jbls a lot better. I had a sound digital 400watt amp pushing the factory door speakers and they were screaming but just poor sound quality once I hit like volume 30 on the stock HU it starts distorting. But I’m swapping out that radio very very soon and I can get rid of the low level and push some real power to my sound system

  4. I believe either mechman or jsalternators makes one for our car,I’m also thinking of upgrading mine,I did all big3 and all wires 1/0 ofc gauge, but when I’m driving and bass hits I can feel the car loses power.

Been offline for awhile but thanks, I ended up grabbing a 320 amp small hairpin alt from apex alternators and got it powder coated all under 500 .I’ll post once iv installed. The stock only pushes like 105. I threw in a bigger interstate battery under the hood and slapped a yellow top in the trunk and still my lights dim and my rpms drop when the bass hits. Kinda felt I went overkill with 320 but eh lol I’m at 1/0 but I’m gonna run 00 gauge from alt to battery and swap out all my wire to 00.

  5. Tried again pressing every button in a random sequence and the car started... Again have no idea what I did. I'll keep testing.

If “lock, lock, lock” doesn’t work it more then likely will be “lock, unlock, lock” that’s usually how we program them in my shop.

  6. I have been warming my car up on cold days and I would very much like the ability to lock the doors while it is running.. I have tried to lock the doors, but have been unable to because I have the push start button option. I have even tried leaving one fob in the car and locking the doors with the other fob i have. Does anyone know of a trick to lock the doors while warming the car up? One thing I haven't tried is leaving the fob in the car and locking the door with the little key inside the fob.. I know there is a actual key hole on the hidden on the drivers side door under the handle, just like there is an actual key hole on the trunk lid... I assume the only other option would be to install a remote start? What is to stop someone from just driving the car away without the fob if it's running?

Aftermarket or factory remote starter ?

  7. Not sure how to explain it but.... https://pedalcommander.com/pages/pedal-commander-product-information. That should help a bit. I drove city to work it’s prob only a lil better then stock. Set for sport on the way home and noticed the diff w a lot more pep to the peddle. Did the change while parked and no cell or limp mode issues. I want to try it in manumatic mode on sport plus and see what this car can really do.
