11Past9
I was always under the impression that 2005+ LGT's were a very tough well built car that could withstand track use, daily driving and what not. Recently I found out about the failing stock turbo issue and how expensive it was. Is this the ONLY significant issue with the LGT? Or are there other serious weak points? What is the sollution for a failing stock turbo? Buy a new or another stock turbo? Is there a permanent fix and if so what is it? What other issues should I be aware of regarding the LGT? omnicron
I think the VF46 on the ?07+? is less prone to fail. Oil pickup failure is another possible issue. Banjo Bolt filter getting clogged. No extended oil change intervals. Shuttering Issue on stock tunes. Squeaky dash on early models. DRL causing headlights to burn out sooner. Can't think of much else..... I still love the car!
